FALL BALL
OPTIONS
AND MORE
OPTIONS!!!

With the Fall Season just around the corner and teams looking for games / try-outs for live looks at players, Georgia USSSA Baseball will offer teams two options this Fall.

Option 1 - Register your team with NO ROSTER and play in all OPEN events.  This option allows you to play with no roster regardless if you are going to be a Double-A, Triple-A or Major team in the spring.  This gives teams much greater flexibility when looking for tournaments and players for the fall.

Option 2 - Register your team as Double-A (you must have been classified as a Single-A or Double-A on July 31, 2017), complete your "LEGAL" DOUBLE-A ONLINE ROSTER and play in Double-A events.  This option will allow teams to play like classified teams during the Fall.  You can always play in Open events as well.

Regardless of option, all teams must have copies of all players birth certificates on hand.  Additionally, all USSSA Points & Berths earned during the Fall will carry over with the Team into the Spring.

Please feel free to contact the State Office or your local USSSA Director with any questions.  The Fall Schedule is up for public view with complete Director Contact Info.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY!!! USSSA has added a "Grade Waiver" to the eligibility rules for both the 13U & 14U age divisions. The rule is now in effect and will be published when the 2017 Rulebook is finalized.

13U: Any player who becomes 14 years of age prior to May 1 is ineligible for the 13U age division unless such player is enrolled in the 7th Grade during the current school year. Any player who becomes 15 years of age prior to May 1 remains ineligible regardless of school grade.

14U: Any player who becomes 15 years of age prior to May 1 is ineligible for the 14U age division unless such player is enrolled in the 8th Grade during the current school year. Any player who becomes 16 years of age prior to May 1 remains ineligible regardless of school grade.

Players using the Grade Waiver must have BOTH a Birth Certificate showing age and a School Report Card showing grade in the possession of their Team Manager at ALLtimes to prove player eligibility.
