Domingo Ayala Will Return For Summer Super NIT...
The State Office is pleased to announce that Domingo Ayala will return to Atlanta, May 28 - 30 for the Summer Super NIT and will be in attendance from the first pitch to the very last pitch.  In addition, Domingo will perform "A Night Of Family Friendly Baseball Comedy!" stand up show on Saturday evening and don't worry, scheduled games will end early enough on Saturday so all teams can attend.  Look for more details in the coming weeks.

Atlanta Spring Dual Super NIT top 350 Teams...
The 12th Annual Atlanta Spring Dual Super NIT surpassed the 350 teams mark this week. With less than 5 days remaining to register, 3 divisions are Sold Out and several others will before the end of the weekend. If your team hasn't entered, you really need to ask yourself, "What do 350 Coaches know that I don't"?

USSSA Major NIT Series Scheduled For 2016...
Georgia USSSA Baseball is proud to announce the creation of the Major NIT Series, "Real Travel Baseball". The Series is a season long schedule of NIT, Super NIT, Dual Super NIT & Select Super NIT events specifically designed for Major level teams. As an added bonus, teams that play in 5 or more Major NIT Series events play in the Series Championship (Major State Tournament) for FREE!!! For complete details, click here.

Pitch Count Rule To Be Used In Special Events Only...
Due to USSSA's continued relationship advancement with Major League Baseball, the MLB Network & MLB.com, the 2016 Rulebook includes Rule 7.08.I (USSSA Pitch Count). This new rule will be used in place of the traditional innings pitched rules in specially designated events ONLY and in the Major Classification ONLY. All regular USSSA Qualifiers, NIT, Super NIT & Dual Super NIT events will continue to use Rule 7.08.H (USSSA Innings Pitched) in all classifications.

2016 Reclassification Report Set To Release...
The 2016 Reclassification Report was released September 1, 2015. A very noticeable change for the 2016 season is a revised Rule 3.01.E.1 (Drop Down Players). Please review the revised rule in the Official Rules or on the Reclassification Report as it may affect your team. To view / download the 2016 Reclassification Report, click on the "Team Reclassifications" link in the blue left margin menu.
 
Phase two of the process is setting each 2015 team's End Year Class. With this task complete, you can now check any team's online roster and view their "Drop Down Player Rating" to make sure it does not exceed THREE (3) Team Total.

Congratulations Bulldogs...

The 10U-Major MGBA Bulldogs ran the table at the 2016 Wilson DeMarini Elite World Series played at Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports. The Dogs finished the week with a perfect 9-0 record and out scored their opponents 77-25. Lawrence Jordon of the Bulldogs was named World Series MVP.
