Sub State Tournaments...
Due to the shear size of our state program (2,551 teams last season), Georgia has out grown its present State Championship format in the Junior Competitive, A (All-Star), AA & AAA classifications. This year, Georgia USSSA Baseball will introduce a new format that includes the addition of Sub State Tournaments. Teams in the above mentioned divisions and classifications must now qualify for the State Championship by earning a berth in a Sub State. Teams that advance will pay NO ADDITIONAL team entry fee for the State Championship. For complete Sub State details including dates and venues, click here.
The Major classification and Scholastic programs remain unchanged. |

USSSA Tightens On-Line Rosters Again... |
COACHES & PARENTS need to review the revised USSSA Rule 3.00 governing rosters. Pay extra close attention to the highlighted sub-sections; the requirements for data entry are more stringent and the penalties for violation much stiffer. A new web page, the Hall of Shame, has been added to the site. This page will list violators of the USSSA Constitution and / or USSSA Baseball National By-Laws & Rules with their imposed penalties. |
