Welcome to the 2010 Atlanta Super NIT!!! Over the years, this event has grown from 102 teams in 2004 to 339 teams last year and along the way it has come to be known as "The Who's Who of Travel Baseball" and that's exactly what it is...year in and year out! Anybody who's anybody in travel baseball comes to Atlanta to play in this early Spring USSSA Super NIT.
In 2009, teams from nine different states traveled to Atlanta to do battle including clubs from Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia. With 140+ USSSA World Series berths and 55,000+ USSSA Points at stake all the big guns are sure to show up!
Your Atlanta Super NIT hosts and sponsors will do everything possible to create a weekend of USSSA Baseball memories that players, coaches and family members will remember for a lifetime. This year's event will be played March 19-21, 2010 and will be played at venues throughout Henry County (McDonough, Stockbridge, Hampton and Locust Grove). |

The communities of Henry County are all situated a short 15 - 20 minute drive from each other therefore hotel accommodations at any McDonough, Stockbridge, Hampton or Locust Grove property will put you just minutes from most venues. |

• EVENT FORMAT • |
|
MAJOR DIVISIONS - USSSA will use a pool play and bracket play format. Teams shall be seeded in pools by USSSA Points totals at the time of seeding. Teams will play three pool games. The top two teams from each pool plus two wildcard teams (two 3rd place teams with the best over all pool play statistics pursuant to USSSA Rule 5.10) will advance to the single elimination championship bracket. The exact format (i.e.; number of pools, quantity of teams in each pool, etc.), will be set by the Tournament Director following USSSA Baseball Guidelines. |

ALL OTHER DIVISIONS - USSSA will use a pool play and bracket play format. Teams shall be seeded in pools by USSSA Points totals at the time of seeding. Teams shall play two pool games. All teams will advance to the single elimination championship bracket. The exact format (i.e.; number of pools, quantity of teams in each pool, etc.), will be set by the Tournament Director following USSSA Baseball Guidelines. |

• GENERAL RULES • |
|
| 1. |
Only one bulk drink cooler and one small ice chest per team shall be allowed in any Super NIT venue. All individual coolers are prohibited. |
| 2. |
A general gate admission will be charged and will apply to everyone except uniformed players and a maximum of 4 coaches per team with proper photo identification. |
| 3. |
Officially licensed USSSA Baseballs shall be provided for all games. |
| 4. |
All divisions and classifications shall play by the USSSA BASEBALL NATIONAL BY-LAWS & RULES with the addition of the International Tie Breaker format. |
| 5. |
Time limits shall be used in all games except Championship Games. |

Teams MUST enter the Atlanta Super NIT online at USSSA.com by CLICKING HERE. The team's USSSA Login I.D. & Password are needed along with a credit / check card to secure payment. Make sure to enter the team in the correct age & classification. After completing the online payment process, the USSSA.com web site system will automatically notify Georgia USSSA Baseball of entry & payment.

By entering online, the Team Manager of the entering team confirms and certifies that the online entry represents a commitment to participate in the Atlanta Super NIT and that all players on this team are of legal playing age for the age and classification entered online and; that all games will be played by the USSSA Baseball National Bylaws & Rules and; that all parents / guardians of players on this team have been notified of a general gate admission to be charged and; that this team stands ready to play on the first day of the Atlanta Super NIT if so scheduled. |

Comment: Not all teams will play Friday, March 19, 2010. Game times will be assigned by travel distance. Teams that do not play on Friday will play three (3) games on Saturday, March 20, 2010. |

Comment: Teams must have all participating players listed on their Official USSSA On-Line Roster in the USSSA.com system 24 hours prior to the start of the event...no exceptions! In addition, all participating players shall have photocopies of their Original Birth Certificates in the possession of their team manager and available for inspection at all times. |
